B4GMAN was built around a belief.

That music is one of the few things capable of bringing people together without asking where they come from, what they believe or who they are. A great groove needs no translation. It simply invites you in.

Everything else came later.

Founded in Marseille in 2018 by Canadian singer, songwriter and producer Ian Fraser Hunt, B4GMAN brings together musicians who share the same commitment: create honest music, play it well, and let the songs speak for themselves.

The name B4GMAN (Before G-Man) reflects that philosophy. Before recognition, before image, before success, there are people who quietly make a difference simply because they believe in what they do. That spirit defines the project as much as the music itself.

Soul, funk, jazz and rock are not boxes to fit into, but colours on the same palette. Every song follows its own path, guided by groove, emotion and storytelling rather than genre.

Independent by choice, B4GMAN values artistic freedom above commercial expectation. Every note, every arrangement and every production decision serves one purpose: making music that means something.
